this year  gabby is enrolled in a photography class at school and will be starting out where i did…in the darkroom.
using my first camera, real film, fiber paper, chemicals (oh, i miss that smell) a big ‘ol enlarger…

this makes me very happy.

i have been photographing these two for…let’s see…since they were born.
they have both pretty much let me do anything i have wanted…and with a smile.
once i had mikey hold a beautiful vintage ribboned mirror up close to his face.

14 years and 364 days ago, while driving in the car, alex said…tomorrow is the first day of spring,
and that’s when all the baby animals are born, so our baby will be born too.
i explained that ‘our baby’ still had 2 weeks or so to go…so, probably not.
