spring mini sessions {part three}

ok! i’m so sorry i’m just putting this last mini session up. i’ve been busy. really really busy. that’s great, right? yes. fantastico!
well, this is the last group from the spotted goose mini sessions and as i was looking over all the storyboards, i was reminded of how much fun
and how much energy, spirit, life these little ones have! wow! i loved every one of you and i see a sweet piece of everyone of you as i look through all the images from that incredible day;)

here’s sugar and spice…..and puppy dog tails.

ric-and-gabrielle

payton was the baby of the whole group and what a little sweetie.

payton

these two girls are as sweet on the inside as beautiful on the outside.
and, oh, those eyes!

eeva-and-tuula

marc had a smile for me the moment he walked in.

mark

baby b with his saylor vest was totally into being in front of the camera…see.

brian

leo and lou you may recognize from ‘the brothers‘ post back in sept.
proof positive of how much children change in a matter of months.
still as sassy as ever! love them!

leo-and-lou

well, that’s it for this, the spotted goose spring mini sessions!
grazie, merci, thank you to each and everyone that made this possible.

i’ve had so many inquiries about ‘will there be another one?’ the answer is probably, most likely, quite certainly. i just don’t know when, yet;)
keep checking back, perhaps around late fall…in time for christmas cards…hint hint.
grazie, merci, thank you to each and everyone that made this possible.
xoxo g.

spring mini sessions {part two}

part two.

did i mention how soooo very lucky i am to have the most fabulous children to photograph.
really. who do i thank?

capes, tutus and lollipops.

lucy-amelia-witt

these two were brothers and best of friends.

ethan-and-tyler

one sweet sweet little boy.

alexander

the first little josephine i have met. love her face and love her name.

josephine

oh, miss heather…mod drama cutie pie.

heather

a lot of you have asked me about storyboards. i will do a proper post about them soon, but these should give you an
idea of the idea behind them…to tell a story with multiple shots within one single page.
sometimes there’s the ‘shot’, sometimes there’s the ‘story’ and storyboards are the perfect way
to show it creatively and dramatically.  i am a huge fan as life is a story and this is but a page in the book.

stay tuned….

the spotted goose and kiwi street studios {spring mini sessions}

i am finally finished editing and processing the last of my first offering of mini-sessions…17 to be exact! i couldn’t have been happier or luckier as all of the babies, toddlers, children and big kids that came out were sweet, fun, cooperative and beautiful;) thank you renee and renee for inviting me into your fabulous store for this special event. thank you to all the parents, friends, and cousins who brought them out to The Spotted Goose for 20 minutes of go-go-go!

the-spotted-goose-door-postera

here’s a sampling of all who joined in in kiwi street studios first mini session!
since there are so many, i’m going to post in parts.
part one.
funny, this first one is of lacy and oliver who just happened to be in the store when i went in to do a little lighting and locations check.
how great for me, as you can see, and how awesome of their mom to let a complete stranger just ‘borrow’ her beauties!

blacy-and-oliver

June 30, 2009 - 8:29 pm

nancy illman - you are magical, I think, Gina, and if I had to choose a favorite of these sweet, amazing, wonderful shots, it is of kai and ryder walking away hand in hand.

July 1, 2009 - 9:57 am

gina - thank you;) i love that shot too nancy. i’m telling you, all these children are simply amazing little human beings!

July 4, 2009 - 8:18 pm

model portfolios . cindy

when cindy contacted me about shooting her pictures for her comp card, I was extra excited because not only do i love to make people look and feel beautiful, i love new locations to shoot them in!
a good artist friend of ours (husband and me) has one ultra cool barnlike loft studio downtown, near findlay market. i stopped by for a visit and a little talk of possibly sharing space…uh huh, i did just say that.  well, first thing to do was to give it a try.  cindy’s session just happened to be next and the right kind for this location.  ‘i’ was a little nervous that ‘she’ might be a little nervous, as,
ok, we weren’t in the ‘she-she’ part of downtown…and let me tell you, there were the most interesting people coming out from everywhere, literally! anyway, cindy was great, into it and even with a little heat, i think we came away with some great shots for her portfolio and comp card complete with a little bit of urban edgeness…oh! am i venturing outside our cincti lines again. drats!

cindy has thee best smile and laugh.
