newborn session . oliver

baby oliver’s arrival was {to say the very least} a huge surprise for all of us.
and may i add, a beautiful, heartwarming, completely welcoming surprise.
this entire time, only the parties involved had knowledge for many reasons.
once it was official, they could joyfully share their amazing news with the world!
oliver’s new parents have been waiting {as well} for 9 months along with oliver’s biological mother.
a woman who they have the utmost respect and love for and a woman who made the choice to give
her baby up for adoption knowing it was the best she could do for him. she chose angela and david to be
the parents to this baby, to raise him with love, patience, guidance, and spirit.
i would never pretend to know what it must feel like to have to make a decision like she has had to,
but i pray that she forever remembers the reasons for her choice of angela and david and
finds some peace in knowing that her little boy is in the most loving hands and home.
as for angela and david, it is a dream come true and i have no doubt that hours are being spent
staring down at this little boy, marveling and crying at the amount of love, joy and gratitude
that they are feeling at this time, as well as all the ‘all’ that they want to share with this little boy.
any new parent can attest to the overwhelming attachment that comes with holding their newborn
for the first time. it is no different for angela and david. oliver is forever their son.
congratulations to your new little family of three.

welcome oliver…

oliver was bound and determined to be awake for most of our visit.
at 2 weeks old, his attention was amazing.

i love these.
angela held him on her shoulder and just look at his expressions!
and look how well he can hold his head up already!

you are in for so much love little man.
xoxo

gabi bass - Wow. He is the most adorable baby I’ve ever seen !
When I met my husband, I felt such peace being around him. It wasn’t until our pre-marital counseling did I learn that his middle name, which is also Oliver, means Bringer of Peace.
I am sure Little Oliver has that same spirit and gives his parents that same feeling !

Oliver
Language/Cultural Origin: Old Norse
Inherent Meaning: Kind and Affectionate
Spiritual Connotation: Bringer of Peace
Scripture: Psalm 23:1
