she should know, i’ve been fortunate to have her style some of my most recent sessions!

well, here is part two of our bambini styling adventure from last month. if you missed part one from georgies…you can go here.
it took a moment to put two and two together, but when i did, i recognized tre’s mom from almost three years ago…the very first mini session i offered through the spotted goose. she came in with tre’s little brother, roman. he just turned one and he took his very first steps that day in front of my camera! i was soooo excited! how many times will that happen? anyway, it was now nice to meet roman’s big brother tre.  not only was he not even a little bit shy, but he loved the outfits that lindsay pulled together for him. he was ready for the camera and worked it!
again, thank you lindsay for your awesome styling eye, renee/the spotted goose for letting us use the fabulous clothing you carry in your fabulous store and the mom’s who were so wonderful to bring their little guys to us.

Nina - Just stopping in to let you know that I watch your images in Babiekins magazine. Rarely comment on pictures because I am not a photographer, just enjoy looking at good pictures. Since I started reading Babiekins I have come to enjoy your image style very much.

after shooting food/locations/lifestyle for the 513{eats} issue for almost 3 weeks, it was so nice to
have a normal one on one session again. and for something a little different, i shot half of the session in
the studio using a combo of natural light and fill from studio lights. i’m keeping an open mind and
going to give the studio lighting thing another try. nothing will ever trump natural light for me, but
i am going to have some fun playing around with some alternatives.
lauren is both a senior and a model just signing with an agency. we had about 40 min or so to shoot
and get a couple different looks for her first portfolio. we started off soft and moved into a little more oomph..

thank you lauren.
you are beautiful…inside and most importantly, inside.

when did children’s clothing become so hip? has it been this way for a while and i’m just noticing?
i remember pretty…what i don’t remember was having so many choices of cool, modern, subculture frocks
to choose from. colours, textures, the mix of fabrics, all of it, so amazing. then you put these fabulous
kiddos into them. miniature fashionistas.
today we had two of the most handsome ~ i have to remind myself to say handsome and not beautiful
when it comes to boys…please remember i have three girls ~ little boys full of their own sense of hip to style up.
i was lucky enough to have children’s stylist extraordinaire lindsay dewald to collaborate with and
her pick of clothing from none other than the always stylish spotted goose (thank you renee!)
linsday was also responsible for finding our little men for this shoot. i love that she has so many friends
with amazing children.
i was planning on showing just a ‘fewish’ shots of each outfit and each boy…but, our little guys were
beyond fantastic and i couldn’t help myself…again. so, i will split these up into two posts.
